“Law & Order” has an interesting Staten Island history: In 1995, the character of Detective Mike Logan (Chris Noth) was “administratively re-assigned” to Staten Island after losing his temper and punching out a homophobic politician. He eventually resurfaced in the “Law & Order” universe, reprising his role in a 1998 TV movie and in the “Criminal Intent” series in the mid 2000s.
In 2009, “Criminal Intent” filmed part of an episode at Duffy’s restaurant in West Brighton and at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George.
