Everyone values a gospel of core beliefs. Whether you worship your parents’ fully loaded car or bow down to the altar of a tanning machine, you don’t have to stake a claim in religion to practice it. Even those who argue they don’t do such a thing do so indirectly by their very own proclamation.
Unfortunately, in order for truth to be absolute, there must be only one Gospel. Otherwise, we lose our absolute right to fathom anything we’ve ever known.
